Welcome to Hungerford Primary School
At our school, our aim is to provide the very best for every child within a caring environment where everyone is happy, safe and secure. Children are guided and encouraged to develop their full potential in all areas of learning and we have high expectations of them. We recognise that all children have their own contributions to make to our school and the wider community and we value them all.
We are proud of our school and all that we have to offer, including beautiful grounds that we use for both learning and play. Children are encouraged to be inquisitive about the environment around them and outdoor learning is encouraged both through Forest School sessions and as part of our curriculum.
We have wonderful children, staff and parents and we enjoy being part of a supportive wider community. I feel privileged to be the headteacher of such a dynamic and vibrant school.

We take seriously our responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of the children in our care. We ensure the staff in our school play an important part in safeguarding children from abuse and neglect by early identification of children who may be vulnerable or at risk of harm and by educating children, about managing risks and improving their resilience through the curriculum. We create and maintain a safe environment for our children and safeguarding is seen as everyone's responsibility.
